We are a “3-1” Ministry:

Objectives
We aim to serve as a channel of communication for the Church of the Divine Mercy - providing accurate, prompt, consistent and God-centered information about the Catholic faith and Parish life. The team facilitates CDM Ministries and groups in enabling them to communicate more effectively and expansively to the CDM community through various communications platform. We also hope to foster better communication, engagement and dialogue within the Church and to the wider community.  

 

Communications Team's Activites

» Putting out the weekly bulletin
» Interviews and "journalism" coverage on key Church events
» Managing the Church website and Facebook updates
» Publicity material and collaterals e.g. brochures, posters, banners etc.
» Receiving and responding to enquiries and feedback about parish life
» Point of contact for external organisations e.g. other parishes, Catholic organisations and secular groups like the community centres, People's Association etc.
» Projects aimed at increasing the community's faith development and parish life awareness

 

 

Multimedia Team's Activites
» Producing slides for Masses, devotions and other Church / liturgical events
» Coordinate with other liturgical Ministries to accurately present the contents of the slides
» Projects involving audio-visual / multimedia and videography

 

Photography Team's Activites

» Cover key events in CDM
» Support Communications and Multimedia teams, priests and Ministries
» Do creative photography for the use of publicity; for CDM’s photo library and publications etc.
» Ad hoc projects

 

If you have the passion to communicate our parish life to the community, do get in touch with us. Depending on the teams, specific technical skill sets required.

 

This includes people who have a flair for writing; working knowledge of MS Office; internet and e-mail savvy; website / IT / HTML skills; creative software skills like Indesign, Photoshop etc; and good photography skills / experience.
